The concept of a big successful Gaushala is baseless without the availability of land. Due to population density in villages and their dependence on agricultural work, it was very difficult to get a large plot of land available at one place for Gaushala. The Gaushala where the work of protection of mother cow and her sacred progeny started, today its name is Shrisurabhi Goshtha.
About 8500 Vedalakshana Indian breeds Govansh including around 3000 Nandis are living happily in the five Gosthas of Shri Jadkhor Gaudham viz. Shrikamdhenu Goshtha, Shrisurabhi Goshtha, Shriyashodadham Goshtha, Shrimurar Goshtha and Shrinandanvan Goshtha, which are situated within range of about 12 KM from each other. Some jersey and hybrid animals are also found during police rescuing cattle from the cruel hands of smugglers and Gaudham saves their lives too. These jersey and hybrid animals are protected by keeping them completely separate in Shri Nandanvan Goshala.
In Shri Jadkhor Gaudham, along with the protection of Vedalakshana Indian cows, the best breed of Indian cows like Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Rathi, Kankrej, Haryanvi, etc. are conserved. In this important work going on for the last several years, Gaudham has also achieved the desired level of success and in Shri Kamdhenu Goshtha one can also get the divine darshan of this kind of enhanced cow dynasty.
One full time Senior Experienced Doctor with 10 Colleagues (LSA) works round the clock as a system of medical care for the mother cow. Apart from these, external teams of doctors also visit Gaudham at different intervals.
Following the path of self-reliance directed by Param Pujya Shri Maharaj ji, the work of production and sale of pure Satvik A2 milk and Bilona Ghee is in progress through a small-scale dairy in Shri Jadkhor Gaudham. Along with this, a miniature Ayurvedic medicine and other product preparation centre based on Panchagavya has been established. Necessary legal approval has been obtained for the manufacture of above medicines and products.
For the proper use of cow dung, a factory for production of manure (Phosphate Rich Organic Manure-PROM) using cow dung is also available, as well as a factory for making gonyle from cow urine has also been established. It is very difficult to sell these products in the free market due to the lack of awareness among the general public regarding the use of fertilizers made from cow dung/cow urine and the use of substances for spraying on crops. At the same time, due to lack of necessary marketing and due to adverse effect on business and lack of funds during the Corona period, PROM (fertilizer) and gonyle plants are almost closed and due to lack of marketing, the work of production and sale from Ayurvedic center is also reduced.
